Summary
Elder Horn kept a diary most of his life. In 1871 he wrote the preceding years into an autobiography. In this book is the diary for the next five years into a similar form. Sometimes the arrangers filled in bare suggestions no longer clear to the ordinary reader by jogging Mr. Horn's memory or by inquiring from some of the other old citizens of Collin County
